“Blizzard Entertainment has today updated its official Web site with a map for World of Warcraft. The map shows where some of the major cities are located and also gives some idea of where the different races in the game will start in relation to each other. A number of the place names that appear on the map can be clicked on for further information, and fans of Warcraft III should find some of the regions familiar. New World of Warcraft races Blizzard has updated its Web site with information about three previously unannounced races for World of Warcraft. Two of the new races, the undead and the trolls, will join the orcs and tauren as members of the Horde. The gnomes will be a part of the Alliance, with also includes the humans, dwarves, and night elves. Blizzard has also announced three new player classes: the priest, rogue, and paladin. There’s a new section on the World of Warcraft Web site devoted to the undead, providing background information and listing the classes that will be available for those playing undead characters. World of Warcraft character info Blizzard Entertainment has today updated its official World of Warcraft Web site with information on some of the character classes that will appear in the game when it’s released next year. Existing descriptions of warriors, mages, and shamans have today been joined by detailed information on hunters, warlocks, and druids, all of whom will have completely different skill sets. Hunters, for example, will be able to track and tame wild animals, while the druids’ shape-shifting ability will actually allow them to transform into a number of different creatures, including a crow, a panther, and a bear.
