Fishing

“As a secondary skill, fishing occupies its own unique space in World of Warcraft. Although it is essentially a gathering skill akin to skinning, herbalism, or mining, the mechanics of the skill make it almost like a mini-game. Just like the real-life equivalent, to become a master fisherman you’ll have to spend considerable time standing next to bodies of water while holding a fishing pole. Catching a fish will be a test of your reaction time, as you have to right-click the bobber immediately after you see it dip into the water indicating you’ve caught something. Along with the requisite marine life such as fish, eels, and squid, you also might haul up some odds and ends from time to time - including even valuable items, some of which may only be caught by fishing. The fish you catch can be eaten on their own to regain health, or they can be used in cooking recipes. The cooked fish will often provide useful effects when eaten. And, like any real-life fisherman will tell you, part of the appeal of fishing is its inherent relaxing nature. Finding a perfect fishing spot, secluded from other players and (hopefully) enemies, while surrounded by beautiful scenery - it’s a perfect way to take a break from your adventures in the World of Warcraft! Getting Started First, you need to find a fishing trainer. Fishing trainers are usually located next to a lake or stream. If you see an NPC standing near the water, he’s likely a fishing trainer or merchant. Ask around and people can help lead you to the fishing trainer. Once you have learned fishing, you need to go find yourself a fishing pole! Fishing Poles After you have trained in fishing, you need to go buy a fishing pole.

Fishing poles can be purchased from merchants who sell items required for Professions (”"trade merchants”"). Ask other people where to find one, if you need help. After using your initial Fishing Pole, you can find better ones out there in the world. Check the Auction House for poles. ” “Want to save people’s lives. Want to cure poison and heal grave wounds. Become a Physician! This secondary skill allows you to create various bandages that can be used to help yourself and other players. Physicians create bandages and apply them to other players that are wounded. You must have the First Aid skill to apply a bandage to another player. The benefit of this skill is the ability to heal yourself (and others) using items created from ingredients you are finding anyway while you are killing monsters. You might be throwing these First Aid ingredients away, but you should instead turn them into something useful. wow gold Additional Information Since First Aid does not take up one of the two profession slots, every player can get it without penalty. Some say that Tailors shouldn’t get First Aid because it wastes cloth, however, you can gather enough cloth to do both. First Aid is also almost a requirement for Raids. wow gold While fighting powerful bosses, Raid leaders sometime say “”run away and bandage.”" Even classes that have healing can still benefit from bandages because bandages conserve mana. Bandages are channel cast and heal over time. If the player bandaging or the player being bandaged is struck in combat, the bandaging effect ends. wow power leveling Either way, the target still gets the “”recently bandaged”" debuff. It’s really annoying to start to bandage, be hit, then you can no longer use another bandage for 60 seconds. The bandage is wasted and the target is not fully healed.

mp3 players For this reason, try to only use bandages when you won’t be attacked. This is not always possible, especially when bandaging in battlegrounds. Try to go and hide somewhere or run away from monsters before bandaging to reduce wasted bandages. wow gold You can bandage multiple targets in a row such as yourself, your pet, and party members as long as you pick different targets to avoid the recently bandaged limit. The recipes for Heavy Mageweave Bandage, Runecloth Bandage, and Heavy Runecloth Bandage can be learned by visiting your faction’s Artisan First Aid quest npc. You will need to purchase an Expert First Aid book to advance First Aid higher than 125. wow gold These can sometimes be found in the auction house. You also need to purchase Manual: Heavy Silk Bandage, and Manual: Mageweave Bandage. Alliance players need to buy the books from Deneb Walker in Stormgarde Keep in Arathi Highlands. He can be difficult to find.RELATED LINKS:
